conquermaths is a real life saver... I managed to brush up on my maths skills with in the space of two weeks and hand in a mathematics portfolio for my university course.. Could not have done it with out conquermaths. Will and have recommended them to friends and family.

This is very helpful and has helped me understand the topics very well. It is a better homework than just doing sheets all the time, and it is a great confidence builder when you get a good score. Another advantage is that you can see your marks straight away.
James Coates, Student,
My son has been following your programme in preparation for the Royal Navy recruitment tests. Maths had always been his weak area and in April this year, he failed the test due to his maths being slightly below par. He has followed the conquermaths programme for 4 months and has during that time, realised that he can actually do maths!...

2. Review and select the topics you need

Each student will need to start at a different place and concentrate on different areas. Talk to your teacher for advice on this or view the recommended Learning Paths or Revision Packs in the Student Area to help make up your mind.

Sit down and listen to the tutorials, one by one from the beginning of each topic.

You may find that the first few lessons are easy for you to understand and you can can move ahead with confidence. This is great but you need to ensure that this early knowledge is embedded, as maths is cumulative and you will need it as you move further on.

But, the very first time in a lesson you think... 'Huh?' - you've reached an area that needs work and that's exactly where you begin your ConquerMaths studies in earnest.

If you are a mature student, returning to maths for the first time in a while... Welcome! You are best advised to start at the beginning of Learning Path 1 and work your way through.
